Hardware and Software Requirements

The flight is best viewed at a resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher.

Adobe Shockwave Player is required to view the Interactive 3D Flight.
Please note that all System Requirements of Adobe Shockwave Player should be met.
Further information about the player could be found on Adobe's website.

Navigating through the flight

The flight provides its users with three simple options to navigate through the old city of Shibam:

• You can get a landmark into focus by clicking on its name in the navigation panel
• You can get a landmark into focus also by clicking on the model itself within the viewport
• You can travel from a landmark to another by using the right and left arrows on your keyboard

For slow performance / low-end graphic cards

After the flight is loaded, change the player's "3D Renderer" by selecting "Always Use Hardware - OpenGL" option showed in the right click context menu.
